Cycle Touring Cambodia Siem Reap to Kampong Thom

March 9th Siem Reap to Kampong Thom 156km

Long day!  Around 8 hours in the saddle.  The roads are good with just a few over zealous road humps slowing us down.  A gentle headwind kept us cool but also kept the speed down to around 20kph.  Maria started to tire not long past halfway which is strange for her, maybe the headwind.  We met a couple who had cycled here from Germany, 18 months on the road and they said maybe another year to go on their way to New Zealand.  They mentioned they had met a couple who had been on the road for 6 years!  Makes our little trip seem a bit lame, however I wouldn't be too keen on spending that long touring.

Another Pig shot

Yep pulled by a scooter!
