Doi Khun Tan National Park to Lampang

February 3rd Doi Khun Tan National Park to Lampang 63km

So mapmyride says downhill all the way, b******s is it.  You quickly descend only to be hit by a wall of tarmac so steep I had to get off and push, not once but 3 times!  This is the first time in 7,000km with these bikes I have had to do that.  Now I know why the guys were laughing.

Once the character building section was over the rest of the ride was awesome all the way to the highway.  We had a couple of dog chases but the cap guns scare the poo out of the little buggers making them scatter.  We made a little detour to the elephant conservation camp but it looked more like a theme park/show sort of thing so we blew it out.

Now we are in a nice hotel with breakfast for 650baht, could be 145km tomorrow.
